Editorial & Corrections Policy

Medical information should come with accountability. This page explains who creates the content on this site, how it's reviewed, how sources are chosen, and how to report an error.

Who writes and reviews this content

The educational content on this site is prepared for Infinity Medical Wellness and medically reviewed by Diana Aristizabal, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the clinic's treating provider. Articles that carry a byline identify their author and reviewer, along with published and updated dates.

We do not publish anonymous medical articles, and no content on this site is sponsored by pharmaceutical companies or other third parties.

How sources are selected

Research and evidence content on this site cites primary, authoritative sources: peer-reviewed journals indexed on PubMed, FDA labeling and communications, NIH resources, and publications from academic medical centers. Citations appear as numbered references that link directly to the source, so you can verify any claim yourself.

Standards we hold ourselves to

We describe IV ketamine's use for depression and related conditions as off-label, because it is. We identify Spravato (esketamine) as the only FDA-approved ketamine-derived treatment for specific psychiatric indications. We use hedged language — "may," "results vary" — because outcomes genuinely vary, and we never use the words "cure" or "guarantee." Investigational topics are labeled as investigational and, where relevant, as services we do not offer.

How content is kept current

Our goal is to periodically re-review high-priority medical pages against new FDA information, updated prescribing information, and newly published systematic reviews. When a page is meaningfully revised, its visible "updated" date and its structured metadata change; we do not refresh dates without a substantive change.

How to report an error

If you believe anything on this site is inaccurate, outdated, or misleading — a clinical claim, a citation that no longer resolves, a price, or a business detail — we want to know.

Email info@infinitymedwellness.com with the page address and the issue. Corrections are reviewed by the medical reviewer, and substantiated errors are fixed on the page itself with an updated revision date.

This corrections process exists because authority requires accountability — not just footnotes.
